Right, and I just asked that you don't try to come setup before 2.
Matthew, we could roll with you. I DO NOT plan to work 8am to 6 or 7 on Friday. Oh hell no.I'm hoping to bust out of there mid/late afternoon and be packed the night before so we could get there and get the set up up before dark.
I'll probably work a little later tonight so I can duck out tomorrow at 1 or 2. I expect to show up at 3 or 4.
When does someone want to come get firewood? Time is limited.
Idealy, we'd have someone with a truck. You can burn a LOT of wood in a weekend. I wish I had more space and lived closer, tonight is packed for me.
How much should we worry about bringing firewood in from the metro area? I know the state parks only allow use only local firewood due to the threat of transporting forest pests. Hay Creek Valley campground is not in a state park, but what if I'm a tree hugger? Just wondering if anyone has good leads on any Red Wing area firewood vendors.
I just looked at the drive on a map for the first time. It looks like it's a beautiful drive once you're SE of St. Paul!
i'll be heading out around 630
Listen twice as much as you talk.
Pitching a tent in the dark sucks almost as much as taking one down in the rain.
