Hey all,
Please note before reading this that I am also interested in interesting wheel trades, but they need to be 5x100, 15, 16, or 17 inches in diameter, and very lightweight.
I have decided to sell my BBS Pininfarina wheels that I purchased for my Corrado. I had originally planned to use adapters to mount them, but the spokes will not clear my front brake calipers without super fat spacers. The wheels are also a bit heavy and I'm looking into building my Corrado for handling rather than stance, so here we are.
I have five wheels. One is badly bent and another is very slightly bent on the inner lip of the wheel, but this will not affect tire sealing, nor should it affect balancing though I am no wheel expert. All center caps are included. There is almost no curbage.
The wheel specs:
17x8
5-spoke
ET40
5x120
Chrome finish
"Pininfarina" script engraved in one spoke
"by BBS" engraved in another spoke
I think that these would look very nice and clean on a newish BMW (E36 or E46). They are clean and have been relatively well cared for but have sat in storage for 5 years under my ownership.
I am asking $800 OBO. If you do not think that this is fair, that is OK. Please do not crap on my thread, but feel free to make me offers and offer constructive criticism. You will not find another set of these wheels anywhere (believe me, I've searched a ton because I'd like to know more about them)
There is one picture attached, but I will snap more soon.
If I sell them here I'll donate $25. You can contact me via this thread or calling/texting 612-481-seven*nine*nine*one
