Default 1-year searching = Candy White Mk4 TDI

Some of you know that I've been seeking a Mk4 TDI for a long time. Just over a year now. FEVERISHLY searching craigslist and TDI forums as well as AutoTrader. There were a couple of strong possibilities and I was willing to drive to all corners of this country TO GET THE RIGHT CAR.

The request was simple: Candy White 2000-2003 TDI 5-speed 4door Golf. Although the availability was quite low unless we wanted to settle for a Silver Mk4 (hah!). I have settled on a 2nd or 3rd choice for my car in the past and I will NEVER do it again. Well, we found this sweet baby in Madison, WI which meant that we didn't have to fly out to get it and the owners even agreed to meet us halfway in La Crosse!

The vehicle history was excellent and the previous owner cared well for the engine and serviced it regularly. The interior shows wear, so I'll be looking for some replacements parts, but I seriously could NOT be happier with our find!

Only 2 MODS so far: wicked dark tint (from California/Arizona years) and an Oil Pan Skip Plate from KermaTDI

Without further delay, here she is...

Freshly purchased in La Crosse, WI.

Curbside at home. Safe and sound.

Great looking car! I highly recommend larger injector nozzles as your first performance mod. They make a world of difference!

Injector nozzles and a chip are CERTAINLY on the menu, but it will be a little while before those.

I'll make another post for the mods I desire. Right now I need a few things to get it up to my cosmetic standards.
