    Default Chump Car Spectating

Anybody thinking about driving up to BIR. I just decided that I might rather do this than the full day of jaunting around town for CC, Imola, MAP, etc.

If I go, I'll probably drive up very early tomorrow morning and then return late at night if I decide not to camp there and watch Sunday.

    Anybody else? Chemmers? Palmer?

I would have liked to, but I can't get the time off work this weekend. Plus brakes that are shitting out on me would not have made it a good trip.

I'm planning on arriving bright and early for when the gate opens. I'll be toting my camera around all day.

    Fixed

I was seriously considering it. How early were you thinking of heading out? Early morning drives can be awesome, plus it gives me an excuse to play with my newly installed CB

Early early. I was thinking of getting to BIR by 7ish. Thoughts?

(gives me excuse to purchase CB?)

Depending on how much I get done this afternoon/evening. I might head out in the Eurovan tonight and camp somewhere near the track. Watch tomorrow and then head home in the afternoon/evening.

I thought about that, but staying the night complicates it a little bit. I enjoy morning drives, so it's not a big deal. I may or may not stay tomorrow night. I may decide last minute.

I'm in Blaine, where are you coming from?

Do we just take 169 or 10 north? I've actually never driven it, only been a passenger.

I'm in St Paul, and google maps suggested 10. 169 was listed as an alternate, and doesn't look much slower. Which is a better drive?

I'd take 10 so you can avoid the fuck show around Mille Lacs. Haven't driven 10 in a while but 169 was pretty boring the other weekend till about 10 miles out of Onamia when I got off
