Default New wheel hanging tool at SCI Performance

    Hey all,

I wanted to let you all know about a new item we just finished making at the shop(actually had them made for the shop).

14mm x 1.5 thread wheel hanging tool. Made to hold up your wheel while you install the lug bolts without cross threading the bolt holes. These parts are made locally(actually right next to the shop) and have been plated to prevent rust and match the VW/Audi factory tool kit items.

    They will fit BMW's, Mercedes, Audi's after 1990 and fit Mk3 VR6's, all MK4, MK5 and MK6's.

$10 each. We have them here at the shop now and they will be available at the swap meet next Saturday.

    I am buying a couple!

Are you sure they fit BMWs? I think my BMW lugs are a different thread than my VW ones, although they are both 17mm...

Definitely a great improvement over the stock plastic ones!

If the BMW compatibility is confirmed I'll be stopping by.

Old BMW has an M12x1.5 thread pitch, just like mk3 2.0 and earlier VW.

This won't work for us Jeff.

Picked one up yesterday and the quality is great. Already put the bug in Chad's ear about a matching 12mm one for us old car guys.

Pretty sure the E46 is 12x1.5 too. These would be handy for test fitting spacers.

I was just glad my E30 lugs fit my E36 hubs.

I made some in AL and SS. I did them buy hand on a lathe. I made a thread, but received no interest. Probably my lack of marketing skills.

I'll pick one up for the mkIV. I need an oldschool one as well.
