Default Coilovers for MK3 jetta 2.0

    Hello eurowerkers,

I just got my taxes back. WOOOOT! I want to buy coilovers. I'm dont want to spend over $600. I've heard good things about V-maxx, Raceland, FK, and a few others. But I've also heard bad things about all of the above.
I'm moving to Arizona this summer and my car wont see salt for a VERY long time.

I really respect the opinions of the car people on here and I just wanted to hear some thoughts.

    What would you buy?

Hmmm...well I'd say FK so you can get stainless steel bodies for salt and such...but if you won't deal with it for a while and don't care if you do in the future, I'd say racelands since they are the cheapest and you're looking for some cheap coils. I have vmaxx in my b5 and they do go loooooow in the front but the rears don't at all. And they aren't stiff enough for my likings.

I've driven a mk4 with racelands and they didn't feel too bad for being in a slammed car. I assume you'll be going pretty low...

    Mk3 isn't a passat or a mk4.

Yeah I know but the coils are made by the same companies he's asking about, meaning they are made the same...
