It's mike! but call me chaz.
Get over it. Japanese cars are in vogue everywhere. And honestly, how many affordable RWD/AWD Euros are out there? R32, A3, base E90? Japan has a few more. All of Subaru, Honda S2K, Three gens of Miatas, Supra, Celica, Evo, plus all the 70's/80's stuff. And once the new hachiroku and BRZ come out, be prepared to see only those for several months. The fact is that Yurrp hasn't been putting out a ton of cheap RWD track toys. The cost of entrance is pretty high.
More Auburns plz

nice duesenberg, i'm a little surprised jay leno doesn't own it yet.
Is that at the ACD museum?
You're thinking so generically.
All BMWs are RWD or AWD, all Mercedes are RWD or AWD, older Volvos are RWD and AWD, Audis old and new are primarily AWD.
The big difference, is that european stuff tends to be more spendy, but with good reason. Look at JDM vs EDM cars of different decades. 90s JDM was cheapo plastic crap that was reliable and economical, 90s EDM cars were sophisticated and soild. same in the 80s, and 00s.
The EDM cars are just built with different qualities in mind.
It is. I've been there at least four times. My dad's company use to hold their annual party there.
And when we moved close to that area we almost bough the Cord Mansion. But it simply needed too much electrical work. The carriage house was too awesome, though.
Never seent the mansion. Pics? We're planning on doing the Studebaker museum on the way home from school in the spring. If you're ever around there stop at Shipshewana, IN for the Hudson Museum. They've got some really cool cars.

That's exactly what I said. Euro stuff will run you up way more money than an old AWD Celica would. Or a Miata. Or AW11. Or KE70. Or 323GTX.
I forgot the Volvos. They're about the only affordable Euro RWD around.
When you want a fun driver and the choice is spend xxx for a BMW or half that for a Miata or RWD Corolla, the choice is easy. Plus, you won't be labeled as a douche.
What?
For a clean miata worth a damn, your going to pay $4000. You can get a pretty damn clean E36 for that. You can snag a decent E30 for $2-3000. Old Audi 90 or a4 could be had for $1-3000 pretty easily. Same goes for the older Mercs.
Heck, you can get z3m for the same price as an s2000.
