After much harassment *cough* Brett *cough*, I have joined. I have met a handful of members already at eurowerks last year, the dyno session @ DB, and at the weekly meet I finally managed to make it to for the first time.
Past: Bunch of beetles, and my first running car was a 1982 VW Rabbit L with 8 valves of fury, and 4 on the floor. Wicked fast, as we all know. Pretty much everything I have owned was a euro car, including a 1966 Austin-Healey Sprite (sold-POS). So needless to say I have gotten pretty sharp with a wrench over the last 8 years. From there, I had a 1998 Passat 1.8T 5-speed for several years. That's when I really started getting into modding. it was a pretty good car, but I ended up trading it in for a *gasp* '06 silverado. Yup. Owned that for a good, solid 6 months before I sold it. Couldn't handle going from unnaturally aspirated to naturally. It's way to brutal to not have boost. And there was that whole "warranty" thing to deal with.
Present: In July 2007 (I think) I bought my current '01 A6 2.7T, and June this year I bought my T44.
Future: Next spring the A6 is getting swapped to a 6-speed, and the 200 is getting some track prep budget allowing. I'll skip going into details on the meet & greet thread.
