Default DIY - Ultimate garage couch, with built in storage!

OK, so you used part of the car for your driving simulator but you still have some left (and you love to play with the Sawzall) so what do you do?

Make a garage couch for watching 'drive-in' movies!

My daughter insisted that I leave the seat belts on. She puts her little dog in the trunk and she peeks out through the arm rest ski bag hole The trunk lid works so I use the trunk for storage

wow... are all E36 rear seatbelts like that? I've never seen them cross that direction.

and is that Laguna Seca Blue?
Nobody sits like this rock sits. You rock, rock. The rock just sits and is. You show us how to just sit here and that's what we need.

It's some custom color close to Laguna Seca Blue but not exact. The car had been painted shortly before it was hit in the front so the paint job is actually very nice. I call it 'Smurfette Blue'

I need pics. now. That's something I've always wanted to do...

What driving sims do you play, by the way? I'm a big Live For Speed fan, but I haven't played it in quite awhile.

EDIT: Nevermind, I posted before I saw your other thread on the driving simulator. Very cool!

Rock on, I wish I had a few extra feet of depth in my garage...I'd go right ahead and copy that!
