    Default Few before Winter..

Car is raised a little due to tires being too big. Even after rolling my fenders, I still rub. It will sit at this height until winter is over. I will have new tires by then, and will be quite a bit lower!

A few from a point and shoot...

Huh, totally just noticed you shaved your sidemarkers, had no clue you did that. But yeah once you get new, smaller tires you'll be able to go lower with no rubbing easily. those things are beefy!

You have a winter set right?

actually, he didn't shave the side markers...it looks like an '04 so they're integrated into the mirrors

nice wheels, and i always love a 4motion passat!

Yes, it is a 2004. So no side markers.

And yes, I have a winter set going on next weekend. I just put the new grille on yesterday, so I thought I would shoot a couple pics before the Grandma wheels go back on.

Yes. Pete keeps trying to get me to get some Falkens because they stretch oh-so-nicely.

Yeah dude, get 215/40 falkens. I'm getting the same size/tire this spring as well on my adr's which are the same size as your wheels. My 215/35s were real nice but they are all pretty shot and I want some more rolling diameter on my tires. Sometimes those tiny things got scary going fast with high winds...
