judging by him saying the clutch failed, probably not.

This type of clutch doesnt just "go". It just doesnt hold all the power.

Okay, so it "failed" ? Really unclear what is actually happening. All I see is a video where there was power coming on for a split second and then its shut down. Do you have the dyno sheets from the 3-400whp runs that we can see?

Oh its the clutch. I see this all the time and I know whats going on. No diagnosis needed. I held better power last year on a stock flywheel and I am suspicious of the flywheel. I am putting a new one on tomorrow and back to the dyno.

What is the clutch/flywheel setup? Did you switch to an aluminum flywheel or something?

Did the clutch 'fail' or did you fail to size it properly?

I dont subscribe to the idea that when things dont work out the way you want it has to be someones fault. Its unfortunate and it sucks. Deal with it.LOL

Lol indeed. Chuck, I wasn't asking about people or anything, I was asking what material your flywheel was or what it was or why you thought it was that. It interests me.

Why is it so hard to participate in your thread?

Because the history of this forum is usually about blaming someone and thats not what im about I am using a billet flywheel and a ACT stg5 or something like that clutch (6 puck sprung). I was avoiding giving this information because someone always wants to blame the parts no matter what the real problem may turn out to be. I havent had it apart yet so I dont even know yet. I do know that I had the same clutch last year with a stock TDI flywheel and it was holding fine. Thats whats going back in it tomorrow.
