I would just take the bearings to a reputable shop w/ a press. should only cost you 15$ or something to have them pressed in. it isnt worth your time to do it yourself.

As mentioned above harbor freight sells the tool set. I think mine cost $90. As also mentioned above pay the $15 to have them pressed doing it yourself sucks.

    Oops bump from the dead.

Most people either break the tool or mess something up and then have to pay 2 times as much to get it fixed. Not saying you will do that, but in the end if it does get messed up you'll be pissed.
I have all the tools, and borrowed them to my friend, and he broke them. Luckily Harbor Freight replaced for free under warranty.

I bought the adapter tool from harbor freight and it works great. Some people thinks it sucks to use a little muscle this way, but I do not mind. Other people have used impact wrenches to help out.

I'm planning on picking up a press from harbor freight tomorrow for this very reason. First place I checked here in St. Cloud quoted $37 per side.

I could never imagine using hand tools to press a wheel bearing that way.

It is really not that difficult. To each there own I guess. $15 dollars here and there adds up and that cash could be used on new goodies for your car. Hard work never hurts if it saves money. Why do we work on our cars in the first place, so we do not have to pay for all of the overpriced labor costs. I just realized I am answering my own question. Oh well.

I bought the on-car bearing puller kit before I realized you could get a press for $120 bucks. The kit cost me $80. Just buy the press from Harbor Fright, it will pay for itself in the long run.

My IR 1/2" gun was about $140. Can't believe how much time/energy I used to spend without air tools.
