diy for yall
start with ur jetta light
separate the lense form the housing
i found if u can heat gun the glue so its soft, wedge it apart and slide a razor blade and cut the glue
housing, lense and facia are apart.
separate the plug(wires to to 9007 and blinker) from the housing
backsides of housing and facia before any cutting
this is what u will b cutting off the backside of the housing. i tried using white chalk to show u
draw ur pattern on the backside of the facia. right side was yesterdays, left on is todays. and be sure to mark ur drill holes for mounting.
will look like this
backs of facia and housing
now take this
and slide it into the back, rechecking position of mounting holes.
Before sliding the completed facia back into the housing,
you will need to trim this part of the projector so the adjsutor slider can fit. (colored part)
and in the housing, this bracket thing needs to be trimmed.
the shround slides onto the projector itself
now put the facia back in, connecting the 2 adjustors and stationary point.
i have an extra pair of these so i painted them black for whoever asked...easily swap out for chrome or black
and no, obviosly they are not completely finished. but im gonna throw em in for ****s and giggles today see what they look like
