    Default custom bikes...

I have had this overwhelming urge to get another bike as of late. I use to have an '01 cbr600 f4i, which I sold in the fall with the intentions of picking up a 600rr in the spring. That was 6 years ago now.

Now a days I feel like I need to build something, I haven't built a bike yet. So, I've been digging on the bobber style 80s jap choppers.
I've been scouring cl for a $400-$500 yamahog xs650 or Honda-davidson cb650, but no luck.

Anywho, my new favorite website (after Eurowerks, obviously).

    http://www.xs650chopper.com

    I'm really into these:

Anyone else get interested in custom bikes?
Flashy choppers, rat bobbers, cafes. Whatever tickles your pickle, post them up.

This is my bike that I screwed with this winter after I bought it in September.

    Start of Winter:

This is what it looks like after the winter:

Except I shaved off the mirrors now and located just one under the handle bars. I plan on shaving more of the rear fender off this winter. I just couldn't help myself this winter walking by it every day, I had to do something.

Some day I'm going to build an airplane/Then I'm going to die in a plane crash
The motorcycle is a work of art, a testament to the corner gods, and as with all religious endevours, requires a bit of ceremony and respect.

I'd black out this. Or do a naked bike or whatev. I dont like chopper-types.

Those Yamaha's remind me of the bobber Triumph T-100's guys do

A small motored bobber is probably the only bike i would get back on at this point.

I wish I was out of school. I'm always pondering the idea of making an old crappy bike into something sweet.

It looks like it had a rocket launcher instead of exhaust stock. Why would you want to put exhaust on it and loose the RPG?

Because I like setting off car alarms because it is so loud.

Cool Dean! Just be careful out on the road I have the sickness for bikes too, but not anything really past 1990. Sadly, I don't think I'll ever own another real roadbike. Oh well. Some bikes off the top of my head I would love to own:

    1925 Indian Scout

    33' or so CZ

75' or so BMW R75 Cafe Racer Conversion

Norton Commando Cafe Racer. More modern, but still super B.A.

    1926 Cleveland

Yamaha YSR50 I will own one someday regardless.

I won't even get into posting dirtbikes. I've been riding since I was about 9-10 and have lots of favorites! Maico, Yamaha, Honda, Triumph, Husqvarna, CZ etc.
