just tried this out today on the lolvo's mega-oxidized single stage paint. And holy shit. I had no idea that any of my paint would ever be like this. tried a few test spots (1000, 1500, 2000, 2500, polishing compound, polish, and wax), and it's smooth as glass (previously it was paint baked in the arizona sun for 20 years - basically matte). Now I just wish all of it was wet-sandable, since the respray is gone in a few areas.
