Default Lincoln slowly gaining my respect..

Ford in general has been putting out some pretty respectable cars lately. I think the 500 is a good car and the new "Taurus" (the new new one that'll be out soon" looked very sharp. The euro Focus is nice, Fusion good though I don't like the facelift. Lincoln, being basically the Acura or Lexus of Ford has also been releasing some dare-I-say cool models as of late. The Navigator still looks dumb but the cars have sharp styling and look well-built. I was very impressed by the concept I saw at the NYIAS today, the C.

The proportions are a little odd and look very French, but overall I like it. Def one of the more original concepts to come from this side of the pond and one of my favorite cars of the show.

    Thoughts?

looks interesting. I take concepts to be worth as much as yesterdays newspaper though. I see lots of risks taken with concepts, and then when its time to put it out on the table, the manufacturers puss out, and all the risks become compromises. Its too bad really. I think the manufacturer that finally gets out of this rut and makes something really different has potential to sweep the market.

I agree completely and don't think this will ever see daylight, but in general I think they've been starting to build up a respectable product line over the past year or so, just when I figured the brand was as good as dead.

I dont like the interiors of the current models from what I've seen at work. Its very oblique. the exteriors are decent though. Im clearly not their target market however.

I actually like the lincoln version of the edge or whatever. It has a 70's looking dash on it.

I have always felt a soft spot for the Lincoln LS.

It's hard to find a pic of one done properly to.

This one isn't bad. To much chrome for my taste. But, it is lowered and tinted. Also, it's not rolling on stupid huge rims.

I can haz Lincoln concept? Although I would rather have an E82!

Lincoln is almost cutting-edge. They need to develop a more unique surface language, IMO.

Too bad the LS was such a slow pig. Yes, even the V8 version was slow.
