WOW. Looks fun and reminds me of demolition derby race, but on ice with nicer cars.
If you're not confused, you're not paying attention.

how often do cars collide in the turns?
dubs are fricken awesome at this sport....the rado has a built g60 motor w/ a bahn brener.....sadly something blew on sunday.
they do *cough* exchange paint, from time to time, and lean on each other...but suprisingly it doesn't happen much. They are really respectfull of each other.
they are in Canook land this weekend, and mankato the weekend after. i will be in mankato volunteering both days.

That red E30 was my old bimmer, sold it to a friend who now obviously ice races it, We didn't do so well cause we have a blown head gasket and our timing was off, See you in Kato. Drop in and say hi.
I stopped and said hello to the guy with the red E30 on that Saturday. Had to leave my BMW on the shore and walk out since it sits so low.

<FONT face="Times New Roman" size=3><SPAN style="FONT-SIZE: 12pt">Just heard from Pete Forrey. All preparations are proceeding for this coming weekend's event! There are enough rubber-to-ice cars planning to show up so that these races are definitely in the schedule. Lots of local promotion is occurring -- radio, tv and local businesses. Pete has plenty of help to put up lath and other markers to clearly define the track since there's not much snow left on the lake at this point. But there's plenty of ice and cooler weather coming for the weekend -- plus some snow forecast in the area.
