I'm not sure if I want to part this out, or sell it whole. Testing the waters to see what it is worth. Short story: Nimrod oil changer stripped out oil pan bolt. Bolt loosened and oil leaked out. Not all gone, but enough to do some damage. Has some sort of rod/rocker ticking or knocking at idle. Only when below 1k rpm. Other than the noise it runs and drives fine. Gets 30mpg still, idle is still good. Has power, doesn't surge or sputter. I've changed the oil twice since this happened. 5W40 Synthetic with Wix filters. Noise isn't getting any worse, but it isn't getting any better either. I'm still driving 25 to 75 miles a day on it.
Body is fair. Has a small dent on the hood and one on the front corner of the fender. Some bubbles in the paint on the rear wheel wells and bottom of the front fenders. Random light scratches and dings in various locations. The headlights have been replaced with new ones. The lenses in the old were completely fogged and pitted.
Has alloy wheels and tires only have about 10k miles on them. Had them replaced this summer.
Everything in the interior has been replaced with parts out of an '03 Jetta. The car was originally a grey interior. I put newer black carpet, seats, seat belts and center console in. I replaced the fabric inserts and trim in the doors with black cloth out of the same car. The center console is the style with the cupholders and it also has the nicer dash cupholders as well. Power windows and locks work perfectly, has factory floormats as well. The stereo is a Pioneer head unit with CD and MP3. The speakers in the doors were all replaced with Alpine Type R speakers.
I'm going to put $1800 since I need to put a price in, but I am really looking to see what it is worth whole or if I should part it out.
The interior shots don't have the new Center console that is black with cupholders in it. Just got that in a few weeks ago.
