Who's left then? Subaru? I don't follow WRC very closely?

Apparently no one does if this keeps up.

Subaru's been out for 5 years or so. Mini pulled out last week. I think Citroen and Skoda but I believe VW is in next year.

    Default Rumors

Jari-Matti Latvala just signed with VW! (that's actually true)

M-Sport will still be racing Fiesta's for Ford they just won't have a factory "works" backing. Like Latvala, Peter Solberg will most likely jump ship from Ford if he can score a deal with another works team. I'm guessing he'll go to Citroen with Loeb going into "retirement".

Ken block doesn't drive for the works team so this really doesn't effect him at all. He probably won't do much, if anything in the WRC next year. He's going to be doing the Rally America Series and Global Rally Cross.

Mini will probably still be racing in some form, just not a works team.

Subaru might get back in the next year or so since they've working on a car that could meet FIA spec.
Skoda is king of the tards in S2000 class.
Toyota developed a Yaris WRC this year and should be racing in some form next year.
Hyundai will be also be racing next year but I'm not sure if their car is WRC or S2000 or production.

I'm pissed that Loeb is going into psuedo retirement (tarmac only rallies) for the next season since Ogier would have been his best competition on the last 5 years behind the wheel of a VW.

Loeb seems like he wants to have something more challenging. He has dominated the least 9 years.

I totally understand Loeb's move of going out when you're on the top of your game but... Ogier is faster and just as consistent. Ogier proved he could beat him last year and Citroen team orders had him take the back seat to stop the in-fighting and help secure Loebs 8th championship. If you watched last year, Loeb was visually flustered that his rookie teammate was flat out beating him on stages. This season has been another blahhh Loeb wins everything... while Ogier helps VW build the ultimate WRC car. My call is that VW wins the WRC next year, Driver Champion is Ogier, and takes the manufacturer championship.

I would love to see Loeb in F1. I might actually cheer for him to win.

I miss WRC's best years when McRae, Burns, Gronholm, Makinen, and Gronholm were all battling it out.

Yes those were the days. You didn't know who would win until the rally played out.

I think Loeb is doing touring car but he's also doing select stages in the WRC next year. I think he wanted to do F1 but was denied the application for an F1 license because of a lack of racing experience. Sheesh.
