Default MK4 BFI Stage 2 Poly Engine, Trans and Dogbone Mount Inserts

As the title states these are BFI mk4 poly engine, trans and dogbone mount inserts. When I decided to upgrade to polyurethane engine mounts, I ordered these thinking that I could handle a little more vibrations than stock, but I was wrong. Correction: I probably could, but I don't think any passengers could. I ordered a set of stage 1 inserts after driving with these for a couple days and installed them as soon as they arrived, so the engine and trans mounts have only 115 miles on them and the dogbone mount wasn't installed yet as I already had ECS poly inserts in there and didn't feel like switching them out yet.

This polyurethane is rather hard, almost plastic-like, so I would suggest only installing these on a very hardcore street car or on a track car. I really did like the sound of the engine revving when these were in(at start up it almost sounded like a supercar) These did also cause pretty much anything in the interior that wasn't properly secured and/or isolated to vibrate kind of annoyingly at certain revs.

    Trans: http://store.blackforestindustries.c...sa2potrmo.html
    Dogbone: http://store.blackforestindustries.com/bfist2doin.html

I'm asking $180 for all three. I don't really want to sell them separately. I'm not really interested in trades at this time.

I am located in Saint Cloud, but I usually go down to the cities about once a week(I try and make it to the CAA GTG on Thursdays). I would be happy to meet there or somewhere within a reasonable distance.

all u need is the dogbone dude. The others are pointless unless you track your car. I have 2000miles on my stg 2 dogbone and there are little to no vibrations.

Going from poly dogbone and stock engine & trans to all poly made as much difference as switching from all stock to poly dogbone. My stock mounts were also very worn at about 75000 miles. From what I've heard at CAA tonight, the NVH with stage 2 isn't as bad on a VR6 since it is quite a bit smoother running engine.

I don't really want to separate at this time, but I'll let you know if I do.

    Bump.

I emailed BFI to see if it would be possible to purchase the metal parts of the engine side mount to complete the set and I'm awaiting a response.

Bump. If you're interested, I'll be down to the twin cities for the CAA GTG tomorrow and can meet there or somewhere else before or after.

BFI still hasn't responded to my email. I'll try giving them a call after work today.

These are still available. Unfortunately, BFI said they won't sell the metal part of the passenger side mount on its own, but they'll work for anybody that wants to uprade from stage 1.

    $180
