looking at a new GLI. I am going to stop at Schmelz tomorrow to see what they have. First time buying off a lot. i know people have experience in this, so i am wondering if they come down on the price at all or if it is a "best price forward". Any thoughts would be great.

Schmelz worked with me on my price when I bought there in March. Have you checked out truecar.com yet? Good place to start if not.

I recommend buying a car at Burnsville VW from Jared. Their prices are lower then any other vw dealer local, I checked, I bought my 2012 tdi from them.

+1 for Burnsville VW. I just bought my 2012 Beetle Turbo from them and got an AMAZING price on it. I haven't met Jared, but I worked with John Trombley who continues to go above and beyond as a salesman.
