My mk4 1.8t has been extremely reliable. I guess I got one of the good ones.

I still can't fathom that 19" wheels are an option on a BEETLE.

    Man, I'm old.

congrats on the new car purchase, i haven't driven the turbo s but i'm sure it's a lot more fun then the stock entry level beetle the dealership gave me as a loaner when they performed the 10k mile service on our gti. i certainly didn't like all of the attention a new yellow beetle with black racing stripes was getting me around Rapid city.

I cannot believe that fully optioned ones are close to $30K!

Model year end closeouts are a godsend.

Base price for a Turbo Beetle is $23,395. Mine came with the bi-xenons, 19" wheels, monster mats, and trunk mat, and I paid $1,000 under base. Plus I got 0% financing on it.

After looking in the engine bay of my mother-in-law's new turbo beetle, I am happy to see they made the bay large enough to actually work in it. The "New Beetle" was ridiculous.

Congrats bud. Don't hit me when I smoke you out in the Caddy.

It's an FSI. It needs to be accessible.
