    Got the teddy bears installed - the rml's rub'd horribly - cant stand rubbin'

    installed new steering momo steering wheel that came in a caddy i found in the woods - ( i bought the truck and parted it ) had the wheel refinished this is it when i got it..







    truck been sitting for 15 years at least....

    Ive had this idea for 10 years i think - finally made it come true.

    Made at local awards business - that has a water jet table..

    At fist i was going to make it small and fit inside the original diameter of the original vw grill badge. Then i realized it would be too small - so i had them made a round aluminum plate that fit inside the original stock VW emblem location -

    Then we made the emblem - it was bigger - but i had them make it small so i was able to use my external hood latch.

    I am very happy with it - i ended up painting the back mount plate black - cant decide if i just want to clear the emblem or paint is silver... im rolling with it now.

    With this type of mounting plate - i could make any type of badge or what ever to mount to the grill - fits like a glove - we had a local show this weekend and everyone loved it.

    thought i would share my idea and how i made it happen...

    I might make another emblem and have it a little thinner for the outline of the VW then might paint it up different or something..

    I love Ronal Teddy Bears, but the seem out of place on that truck.
