Installed the SMIC today. Pretty nice fitment. Had to add spacers to the top bolts so it would fit properly and allow the TB hose to fit.

Got a new MAP sensor from VW. The bung was drilled for the small newer style sensor.

Received up my GIAC flashed immo and emissions deleted ECU last week and tossed it in last night. Threw it in along with some BKR7E colder plugs gapped to .035". Couldn't get the flippin wiper arms off, rusted on, so I busted the rain tray cowl panel.

    Old plugs, look great!

Didn't get very far though on a couple test drives. Car was bucking bad, threw a check eng light. Went to b-ville vw to check out a passat tdi for the wife, was idling kinda like poo. Was almost home and heard a few pops and when I pulled into my driveway I heard a loud hissing, vacuum leak.
Well found out the vac hose from the pcv valve to the intake tore off at the PCV valve. I was able to get it back on after some rigging and seems good for now. I am ordering a 034 silicone hose, because I just replaced that hose from the VW dealer last fall and it was $45!!!!

Word to the wise, bootleg flashes dont work that well.

took it off the car in 3 days of driving. Pretty sure it either had corrupted pcm board or had the incorrect flash done.
sent the ecu back to the guy and he is going to inspect and give me a new computer.

Got my new Computer and now more problems. Pretty sure I blew out my new cometic turbo to manifold gasket.. again... Bolts are tight but either that gasket blew out or the manifold is cracked. Boost to 20psi =
replaced my injector orings and intake manifold gasket. It was bubbling when I did a boost leak check like a month ago.

Well finally fixed my boost surging since installing my chipped ecu.
Ebay silicone hose from the charge pipe to the n75 had too small of a inner diameter. Installed some 5/16" braided fuel line and its good. Holds 20psi and very little surging if any.

Oh, and my ebay n75 from Taiwan also broke off changing the hoses. Going to get that warrantied.

show some more pics of the cracked down pipe. if its right on the edge of the weld where there is that edge its called under cut and it is a weak spot. too hot and not enough filler rod.

my co-worker has it right now. Said he is welding it back up inside and outside.
I messaged the ebay seller on getting a new one.
I guess the surging is probably from my wastegate nut that loosened up about 6 turns. n75 can only do so much to prevent surging.

how are all the ebay parts working out?

Seems like you've ended up doing most stuff twice now.

pretty much twice yea. I have replaced everything ebay on my car accept the TIP and cat-back.

Also, after my boost leak check found this leak:

    so this

    plus this

    = this

also, put on a screw style clamp on the boost rubber pipe of the metal charge pipe. I converted to the clamp style charge pipe from the prone to fail clip style. I think it was leaking boost past that spring clamp at high boost
