Magnaflow is definitely the way to go. It's very quiet inside... and actually pretty loud outside. Magnaflow did a really good job on this system. I wouldn't modify it, or try to cobble together some random pieces.
Hottexhaust is the cheapest place I found the system 2 years ago. Look around the net for coupon codes. I wanna say I got the system for around $650.
btw BR is my fav ultrasport color.

Ok guys I have a bit of an issue. I was driving home from work today and I had about a 1/4 tank of gas and the next thing I knew was that I had 1/8 tank and my gas light is on. I filled up with gas and now my fuel gauge will not go past 3/4 tank.
I tried resetting the cluster by removing fuse 15 (instrument cluster) and fuse 28 (fuel pump) and turning the ignition on then off and putting the fuses back in but that did nothing.
I have VAG COM and I was wondering if someone could walk me through checking my fuel senders and re calibrating my fuel gauge. Or if anyone has any other suggestions your input is appreciated

Yeah, I adjusted my settings on my fuel senders which kind of just covers up the problem.... Now my miles to e meter is way off, granted that thing has always been far from being right.
When I get a chance I will ohm out my senders and see if one of them is all messed up.
The stock setting on the senders is 128 each and I had to change them both to 145 for it to read full. Im thinking one of the senders must be bad and is reading that the tank is not full and the other sender is reading full hence why when I would fill it up it read just under 3/4 tank.

A. My brakes are terrible (I already knew this and I have all new pads and rotors to throw in)
B. I have a small leak coming from the coolant flange and they quoted me $367 to fix it.. :0
C. I had an old revision of coil packs and they threw the new ones in for free
Would anyone want to help me put all of my new brakes in this weekend? I would buy you a case of beer or whatever your price may beI have everything to do the job (Rotors, pads, new DOT4, Power Motive Bleeder, and the brake piston kit from ECS to push the pistons back into the calipers). I could probably just do it myself but I have never done the brakes on an Audi, I have never used the Motive Bleeder, and I dont really have anywhere to work on my car for the moment.
If anyone could let me swing by their place and give me a hand some time this weekend it would be much appreciated!! You can let me know in this thread or just PM me.
Thanks guys!

It ended up being like a 5 hour ordeal and I owe you a big one Jeff!
Thanks guys so much you saved me a real headache, we'll have to get together some time for some beers on me sometime!

Anyone know of any good places to buy the rear outer boot kit from?

Ok so I am currently working on replacing my coolant flange and I have started pulling off hoses to get some things out of the way and I find that the hose that connects to the bottom of the "rubber oil check" valve as is what it is called in the DIY thread I was looking through.
Its the hose that goes down towards the oil pan in which this pic says to remove. Anyone know what its called?

Set of hoses
Busted up 90.
Busted hose from up by the PCV
I was reading on audizine that you can just yank out the PCV system... I could just run a 1" black hose from the busted up 90 that connects to the crank breather and just run it straight up to the valve cover breather. Then I can put a T in that line and run another 1" line and just dump it under the car. does this sound right?

If I were to delete the SAI system would I be able to have someone just shut of the CEL for it or would I have to get a tune to get rid of the CEL?
