Volvo 242 Flathood
It's an '83 model, has a flat hood, but isn't a confirmed homoligation car. There's no tape on the hood or S0#, but it has the correct fuel distributor. Needs a motor and turbo for sure, probably suspension as well. Originally a California car, but saw some midwest winters, so it has some (should be repairable). It's automagic (AW71). Front seats are shot, back seat is pretty good. The dash is cracked. I believe the carpet is salvageable. Interior is black. Paint is original, and is in alright shape, it's oxidized on the top. The thing about the paint is that it is much lighter than it was when it left the factory, all the newer 240's I've seen with the same color code have been much darker (must have been some chemistry change in the paint over the years).
Car is located near Fairmont, MN.
Price: $500 (complete)
If you want the hood: $200 (I'll throw in the the broken grille for free, some plastic cement might make it look better)
If you want the wheels: $150 (needs new tires)
Pics are about 3 years old, car is sitting on cement pad, not grass (was in grass for maybe a week).

I need this gone, I have been sitting on it for too long with not enough money to fix it, and I'm running out of space. Who wants to rescue an old, slightly rare Volvo?
