I think fall would make the show more comfortable. Even if it was late Aug instead of early Sept. I was dieing this year.

Also, if we ever do decide to change venues, I think we should seriously consider the location that the Intermarque show was held. It was a really nice layout.
Nobody sits like this rock sits. You rock, rock. The rock just sits and is. You show us how to just sit here and that's what we need.

hey Kris, Arboretum of Minnesota wink wink (chanhassen)
there's lots of parking, a 3 mile scenic drive, lots of room for a limbo and i'm sure they wouldn't mind being reserved for a day. (plus if the show is a bit longer people can wander into the the building/arboretum portion)

I think it is a really good idea. The Eurowerks show seems to be pretty relaxed. Ending the season by having it in the fall might fit that atmosphere better.

I like that it's in the center of the city so I (and all East siders) don't have to drive the better part of an hour to get there. It's definitely not a deal breaker, but everything seems to be happening 30+ minutes from here.

not to mention the road is being repaved right now (which only happens every 10 years or so it seems) so next year it will be construction free

The 7th would put you on the first weekend after labor day. This was a pretty successful weekend for Wheels and Wings. But that's a bit older crowd. If there's a high percentage of college kids at Eurowerks I think you'd be better off going even later into September. Maybe the third weekend. Generally the weather is still pretty nice (you can have a rain out any given day) It'd be a pretty unusual year to be too cold any time in September. It'd be a lot easier for the college kids to come home after a few weeks at school than on the very first weekend. I'd avoid the last couple of weekends in August too since there's quite a few schools that start before labor day. I think Mankato, Winona, the Iowas and a few private schools all start in the next couple of weeks. Plus vacation time is really heavy right now.
Sure would be nice to have some car related activities that time of year. It seems like we are always looking for something to do before we put the cars away for the winter.

Id say first weekend in October for a true "fall show". And if it were to be moved to the arboretum then fall colors would be there for sure.

I don’t think it’s a terrible idea, but, I have always felt that the car scene around here has died off after car craft. You can see signs of it now, and especially when Porkys was around. Just food for thought.
