Sounds like your mind is made up, and that's fine. You cannot beat a good fall weekend in Minnesota.

Just not sure how we lost our prime spot... Eurowerks has always been early June and was around before Scooters, DITV, Eurohangar, C&C and just about anything else on the map for our interests... Just sayin.

I wanted 3rd weekend. that is what it was supposed to be this year and I moved it. euro hangar took the date, and apparently dont want to let it go. I think fall will be a good gig for us as theres no competition, and the midwest has no big fall send off currently. I was just checking to see if it was overwhelmingly no. which it seems to be fairly overwhelmingly yes.

I voted no because we have had some pretty crappy September weather in the past... The earlier is September the better, if this is a go for next year.

September 7th is the ideal choice.

Well, there would be less competition, so it might pull in more participation and there will be a chance to see what others are doing that year and build on it. There are lots of great reasons to do it.

We will just have to figure out a way to overcome the fact that there probably won't be too many cars that have not been seen at the show. Granted it was not like that has been a huge deal, but if I was on the fence about going to a show, and I knew that most of the cars there were the same cars at DIV the month before... I might not make the trip.

Let's try it, and see how it goes. We did that with the afternoon format and it worked well. Maybe I am over thinking it.

you might be. A lot of it is just being together with friends. I think thats almost what people look forward to more than anything. Cars are secondary for a lot of folks. Not that cars dont matter...just saying.

I totally agree with this. It really doesn't matter to me that cars have been seen at other shows and whatnot. It would be a prime way to cut out some competing shows, I mean even with the date change we competed with Waterfest on the east coast and that Avila or whatever stanceworks show on the west coast.

I am still confused why we moved our date for a brand new show. I get that you wanted to be nice to them for their first year but they scheduled their show on our date. Obviously they were never concerned about affecting our attendance so why should we care about theirs? I just think if you want to be a premier show, we can't exactly be the show that bends over backwards for anyone.

Because I was trying to do the right thing for everyone in the midwest that wanted to go to both. He "couldnt" move his date, so I did what I thought was right, and moved ours.

If it is in the fall, will it continue to be held at the grain belt brewery?

Those first few days of September get awfully close to State Fair & Labor Day in some years.

Watch out for back-to-school. Again, even college kids will probably have stuff on their plates that first week. For working stiffs it's not going to be much of an issue.

I couldn't care less whose car is newly completed at the show. It's just nice to see them.
