    Little bit of an update...

Power bleeding didn't do crap so we removed the trans for the 4th time on Thursday night. The flywheel and the pressure plate had some big grooves in them, so it will be sent back. Got another clutch and put that in Friday morning, bled it, and BINGO I have access to all my gears!

    Pic of the clutch

Took it out and put on a few miles and then finished up a few more things before the show on Saturday. Saturday morning we quickly welded the exhaust to get it to the show. Finished welding around noon, made a quick stop at home to wash the car in 5 minutes(fastest ever) packed the cooler and headed down.

It was literally down to the last minute, but glad I got to bring it there.

    Pic at the show

Drove home to clean up for the Further after party and then stopped at Wendy's for a quick bite to eat with some friends. Come back out to my car to find this:

Some punk kids decided to put pins on the side walls of my tires.

Yeah, I was beyond pissed. We were inside for no more than 20 minutes.

1 tac in the front driver side, 2 in the rear driver side and a handful thrown under the rear. Front definitely leaks air, I could hear it when I removed the pin. The rear doesn't leak but I feel like it is going to cause me problems in the future or after some hard cornering.

Make a Insurance Claim. Depending on your insurance company they should help you take care of it. It wouldnt hurt to call in and ask. If you have a reasonable comprehensive deductable it may be worth it. It wouldnt hurt your premium at all either

You should have left the pins in for some scene points..

But in all seriousness that is really fucked up. Did the eatery you were at have any cameras in the parking lot or any other cameras facing the lot?

Tried to, they fell out when driving home.

Checked local cameras but none of them had a view of where I was parked.

Also, finally resolved my AC issue last night after the climatronic swap. Had to change one wire for the AC signal and now the compressor turns on! Swap is complete.

    The List (Never ends):

    New tires
Permanently fix exhaust and middle hanger.
Straighten out steering wheel. Still looking for a deal on a MK6 GTI or Scirocco wheel.
Trim down cup holders to fit.
    Install puddle lights
    Oil pressure gauge and pod
    Replace bulbs up front
    Level headlights
Install new control arms and bushings
    New shifter console
    New steering wheel trim
Euro FIS cluster and wiper stalk

What fis cluster did you get? Have you looked into the kufatec (however it's spelled) module to display boost, volt and oil temp in the cluster?

Haven't picked one up yet, but its something I'm definitely going to do in the future.

Sadly Kufatec no longer makes that module, but there are others around.

Car is still running great and Dubs in the Valley is only 3 days away! 300 miles left on the break in until I can get into some boost. Ordered the rest of the parts I need for the puddle lights install. All wiring will be as close as possible to OEM by using the wiring connectors already on the car. Glovebox vent mod is complete. Also picked up 2 new front tires. Should be here late this week. The front leaks to the point of having to fill it up twice everyday and the rear is not leaking at all since the indecent after EW6.

Still need to finish up some things on the car before the show.

Secure fuel pump. Need to find a good place to put the bracket.
    Install new passenger fender liner.
    Cup holder inserts.
Check connections and check for leaks.

Always the day before leaving for a show right?

Checked for leaks and I definitely have a massive one from the thermostat housing. Plastic parts and heat do not mix. The plastic part is warped and causing the seal to not sit properly. Need to head to Westside VW around lunch time to get a new housing, seal, and some coolant(better bring lube just in case ). Hopefully the thermostat stays in place to I don't have to drain all the coolant out.

Also, the passengaer side axle was rubbing on the 90 degree silicone connection right off the turbo. Almost wore a hole in it. Picked up another one, but a little bit smaller. Re-clocked the turbo up and towards the back of the motor more to avoid rubbing. I think I got a little more clearance out of that but we will see how it looks in a few days.

Catch can installed with a little filter.
Relocated the BOV out of the bumper area and into the bay. Can't risk getting it wet from rain.
    Replaced passenger fender liner.

Less than 24 hours until Dubs in the Valley!

You could try metric auto for that flange.

Made it out to Dubs in the Valley this weekend. Had a blast!

I was able to get the t-stat flange replaced fairly quickly Thursday night (no coolant spills!) and then finished up a few more little things.

Something else is rubbing on the passenger side axle. Might be the sway bar...

    Took this home with me:
