    Yes, thanks.

The tires are a little loud on the highway, but they are smooth. I can take a little noise over a shaking wheel or something. Really happy with how these look. They compliment the car really well (IMHO) and will be easy to clean. Love wheels with flat faces.

    Thanks!

I think I got a little rub (the car, not me) on the way to work today, so I'm a little bummed about that.

looks pretty good. How are you liking it now that you've had it a bit longer?

It's a great car. Smooth, quiet, comfortable, 26mpg with my bike rack on, handles really well for being fully stock, and it looks nice.

My only beef is that it might be too quiet...I can't hear the damn engine, unless I'm redlining it. Need to fix that.

Cause I wanted 4 doors, reasonable insurance, and to not pay 18k for a car that was flogged all day long, and has 120k on it.

Sounds reasonable but I would guess most M3's are more for show/status pieces than actual go pieces.

Not in my price range, sadly.

Find me a E46 M3 (I'll ignore the need for 4 doors) for near what I paid for my car:

    $16k @ 60k miles.

I will be amazed if anything comes close. I looked for a while.

I'll sell you a BMW performance exhaust if you are interested. :-)
Not sure if the LCI version for the 328 works on the 325, but lemme know.

I imagine you don't really want to deal with solid lifter valve adjustments on your daily, either. Or maybe that's no biggie, but it has to be something to think about.

RE tire rub: Front or rear? I wondered about the 5-er tire size. Just totally guessing, but it wouldn't surprise me if they had a bit taller of a sidewall than what you'd find stock on a 3-er with 18s. A bit of a more narrow tread and possibly lower aspect ratio and I bet it would work itself out.

Stock suspension. Looks pretty sweet! (Fronts 19x8.5 Rears 19x9.5). No rubbing.

    ^ that looks really good.

    Pretty sure it's rear, oddly.

It's happened twice now, not on big square bumps...but more like the gradual, yet firm ones that load up the suspension. Both times were with shit in the trunk, and a body in the back seat.

I have 40 series tires...30 whatever series with narrower tread would help, but I just don't want to deal with that. Maybe I'll roll the fenders or something. We'll see how bad it is. Twice in 350 miles (already) is not so bad.
