Another friend selling his cool cars.. This is his third one of these cars.

Price is hard to gauge. He would like $10k with the spare parts car and all extra's or $8000 for just the running / driving 745i

1986 BMW 745i, grey market euro car.
ASE Cetified Mater Tech owned for three years.
17' racing dynamics wheels, good tires.
Bilstein HD front struts, 5 series lowering springs. clear front marker lamps.
Newer turbo.
Exterior has some blems but presents itself well for her age. small surface rust spot on the driver rear quarter, both front fender dog legs rusty, new BMW fenders included with car.

Amazing interior in buffalo hide with all options, executive package, power reclining rear seats, high end radio

i wouldnt even waste my time taking that offer to him... he sought after this car for a long time - being a full time master ASE mechanic - he gets home and doesnt get to enjoy it - he has a bike he raced on the track and a big ass truck that he daily's for what ever reason...

I totally understand. I wouldnt bother making an offer that low anyways. The GF is still looking for a car and she has about 4k to spend on one, thats the only reason I ask.

I really like this, but its one of those cars that will only go to a certain few people, and I dont think those people want to/can pay 10k for a car that, if they ever go to sell, might take them months/years. You can find these on craigslist all day for less then 2 grand in driving shape. Granted, this one is immaculate and has a bunch of rare stuff on it, but that doesnt make it worth 5x more.

he wants $10k with the extra parts car that has good transmission - interior and body panels - i told him it was going to be a tough sell. i told him lets part out the other car on ebay / forums - then see where he would be at with his driver... been offered $3500 for it on bimmer world or one of those sites.. he might take $6k for the car without spares - maybe we will run ebay and see what happens - he listed it on autotrader and hasnt had a nibble..
