    Well...Casper stopped by.

I hooked up the battery again. Installed a few bits. Plugged a few vacuum lines, and turned the key.

Success! What are you doing for the tune? I'm also curious to check out the aftercooler setup compared to mine. See you at the show!

Full Blown is going to emulate and live tune on their dyno. Chuck is setting up the bin in TunerPro, and IIRC, they use the Ostrich emulator. They'll live log and tune, then burn a chip.

I hit a roadblock the week before the show when I found this just wasn't going to work:

So...What do do? The radiator was brand new, so I could easily sell it and buy something smaller, or, I could call Chuck, and see if he could work some magic for me.

I decided to call Chuck, and 15 minutes later we were hovering over my engine bay sizing up the situation.

He took the radiator with him, and after the show I picked up this:

Perfect fit! He ended up re-tanking both ends, and bringing the inlet out at a 90deg angle to clear the charger. This was just one of many fitment issues I ran into using parts designed to fit an E36 bay, in an E30 bay. Aside from the radiator, Chuck has also modified my RMS aftercooler and heat exchanger to make them fit properly.

    Some detail shots:

Work and home life have been demanding the last few weeks, but things are slowing down a bit and I plan on getting this in over the weekend. After that, a base tune, then off to dyno tuning, then shenanigans.

Everything is in, it runs, and the flywheel intermittently makes contact with the back of the oil pan.

I'm using an M20 flywheel on an M50. There were mixed messages on clearances. Mine was VERY close but I left it. Bad idea.

It's only driven down the road and back, so no.

I just finished reading all of this thread, it was a lot but worth it! You have a sweet E30 dood. Any updates?

Also just want you to know that you've made me appreciate the E30 vert, I've never really cared for that model a whole lot till reading this/seeing yours. Is the black top still on order for someday?
