    Default FS/FT$3000 or running 1973 Mercedes 280 SEL 4.5L V8

    Up for sale or traide! Interested in mk1 rabbit stuff or mk1 jetta diesel stuff. It's just been sitting around to long and deserves better! Not sure what it's worth or if I really want to get rid of it, that's why this is a feeler.

    It has 98k miles with almost all service documented, original brochures and catalogs. I bought it from the widow who's husband owned the old Mercedes dealership in or around Dayton mn. They parked it when he dies about 20 years ago. Since the some jackass stole the radiator and hood emblem and broke the windshield.

    It has very little rust just around wheel wells and little on rockers. It currently turns over but haven't tryed much else without the radiator?

    nada says low retail is 5k. high is 13k. these values are for cars that run usually. you arent too far off...tough when it hasnt run in awhile, has some rust, and costs arent known in the project due to its state of sitting awhile. its going to need a lot of things.... either way, its a neat car. good luck with the sale!

    Yea I agree with Kris, keep it obo and you might find a collector who would want to fix it up. I love these old Mercs.
