have your tried the Fuel pump relay. A.K.A ECU relay..or whatever its true name is.

Is this swapped into something else? MK2? MK1?
Did you look at the intake boot? Is it tore? cracked? Is your fuel pressure regulator junk? try swapping it out with a known good one? Did you plug...

Keeping it running! I installed an oil pump last night. Optimal oil pressure at operating temps now. Before, I was lucky to get 25 psi ar 2500rpms at operating temps with a WIX filter and 10w-30....
