Well, aside from the here and there meet-ups at uni, the drive, or recently calhoun and sci, we never get together as a large group and just hang out and talk cars/make fun of people. Lets try to get everyone out here, even those that are always only on the forums. I was once one of those people and hesitant since I didn\'t know anyone but now that we seems to be growing in size (since the 13 when I joined) I think we should make an effort to put [real] names and faces to screen names.

This is in no way a play on what other local club(s) are suggesting but it got me thinking that sometimes it\'s tough to get out there and meet people when you only know them online.

I was thinking about maybe going down to calhoun next weekend instead of thursday and starting up a grill or two and just hanging around. If the weather is decent there is PLENTY of entertainment (anyone there this past thursday can vouch for that, see below) and good company. Then maybe after that, those that are up for it can cruise over to uni for a bit. Just throwing this out there to see if there\'s interest.

BYOB/C/P/N (beer or beef or chicken or potatos or nothing, I don\'t care)

- If anyone wants to suggest a place that\'s more central, feel free. I live nowhere near calhoun but it\'s a fun place and I don\'t know where others live.

- Does friday or saturday work best for people?

- Can anyone who knows calhoun better comment on the availability of grills (otherwise we can just bring our own to thomas beach I\'d assume)?

Who\'s up for it?

1. TickTack (friday or saturday)
2.
3.
4.
5.

The only thing he\'s missing is the hawaiian print speedo underneath:

Yeah, I\'ll be at treffen the weekend after this one. Maybe we could make this a \"help each other pull ther shiz together before treffen\" event. It\'s always nice to have someone who knows a little about detailing around, or someone that\'s good with small bodywork, or someone that knows their way around an engine, etc. Just a thought since I know I\'ve got plenty of loose ends to tie up before the 18th (many of which I still need to find).

I\'d be down with BF. Thanks for the heads up on crowdedness at calhoun on weekends. Chuck, would that be alright if we planned something for late afternoon next weekend?

I\'m going to Wisconsin on friday but I could do a little 5 hour detour to see whats up on saturday...

I\'m always down for BBQ.

Plus that would give me a chance to hit up Courtney\'s Truck Service and get my A4 corner balanced :)
