So, is it Westside? Looking around at a few things, and dealer prices seem to be much higher on them than private. Who else has some good deals on a MKV?

i would just search the vortex classifieds, unless you would rather finance through a dealer instead of a personal bank

Going to be tough to find them used from people. I still would buy from westside. I know they are negotiable on almost everything.

Touche. There were some incredible deals on mk5's at the end of 2007 on vortex though

Theres going to be a nice white mkv with a votex kit and r32 bumper at westside soon. I hear the previous owners left a penthouse magazine in it....

Up until a week ago I was selling my 2006 GTI for $15,995 privately. Nobody wanted it so it got traded in. I heard it's up at Schmelz now.

I'm going to be hitting up Westside next week and have a look around. A friend of mine just picked up a 2008 GTi 6spd.

If you are going new you should grab one with the CCTA motor. Many improvements over the original BPY motor. Pop the hood and you'll see a big visiual difference.
