In the last few weeks:

I got my timing belt, waterpump, and thermostat done, FINALLY!

I have shadowlined the kidney grills and the door and door frame for now. I did not have time to tape the whole back peice of chrome. It turned out pretty well. I need to touch up one little spot, but I am happy with it so car. I will try to take more pics in the sun and after I get the rest of the painting done next week.

To come:

I am getting my rear window repaired, thanks to Casper, this week as soon as I give him a call. Then it is the suspension Eurowerks deal, in about a week, then rims.

Help me figure out what rims to get, and does anyone have any...other then SLK. haha.

I am thinking a chunky 5 spoke like a Borbet Type A's.

rat rod style now?....

WIDE/staggered wheels like that cabrio at volksport.

Should be entirely flat black, maybe a rusty hood (with a stencil of some sort in it), and a perfect light brown leather interior with white tubing, don't forget the perfect chrome rollbar/harness bar.

HAHA, naw I just mean low and blacked out everything other then the white paint. And eventually M3 cabrio :) :happydance:

maybe matte finish like tatoo20v, could pull it off really well... being a convertible the interior def needs to be done up, and not black... hot day/shorts = leg burns

This is eventually how I would like mine, in white with either style 5's on or 17" Type a's with flat black paint.

Tanner you can do an E30 M3 front bumper on your vert without the wide fenders. You just have to be creative with the sides (they need to be pulled in about 2 inches on each side. It would look sweet, and be OEM+. Then m-tech skirts and rear bumper (or just a late rear bumper, im sorry but i hate the early diving board/metal bumpers) and that thing would be lookin super dope! Are you doing a 5 lug swap? as for wheels.. I have a couple ideas but one is in my head.

I hate the diving boards as well. I am going to look in to a full M3 wide body and front and rear bumpers. EWAustin, would you be able to do the work for me this winter sometime?

I am going to 5 lug ASAP, but again probably this winter. I hope that I can find someplace to work on it...maybe I will have my own garage by that time.

damn thats hot. 5 bolt swap ftw.

i dig the early IS front ends, you late model guys got the shaft imho, well ok, DB bumpers suck.... so maybe it all equals out.
