New lowered price I found out I owe lees than I thought.

For Sale:

2001 VW Golf GTI 1.8T AWW Engine

I am looking to sell my GTI. I kinda want to sell it as is so I don\'t have to mess with returning it back to stock, but I might be open to it if interest in the mods is shown.

I want to sell the car as is for what I owe on it. I owe about $10,200 so thats what I am selling it for. Don\'t come in here and low ball me.

Kelly Blue Book says it\'s worth about $9,750.

As you can see I\'m asking about $4500 more than blue book for it, but I figured the list of mods makes it worth it.

To repeat, I am asking $10,200 firm. The price is firm because thats what I own on the car.

As for pics...... I will get pics posted in here as soon as photobucket.com is working again.

The details......
81,7xx miles
Rave Green
5 speed
All the options except leather and monsoom stereo
Came with 15\" alloy wheels, but I swapped them out for steelies because I think the car looks better with the steelies than the tiny alloys.

Mods......

Engine:
APR 93 Octane burn
Greddy Type S BOV with recirc. kit
N75 Race Valve (think its the H)
I tightened the waste gate just a bit also
Diode mod on the MAP sensor
ABD CIA w/K&N filter
Engine bay has been de-plasticed (I removed all the engine covers)
Techtonics 2.5\" mandrel bent, stainless steel down pipe
Techtonics 2.5\" stainless steel high-flow cat
Techtonics 2.5\" mandrel bent, stainless steel cat back exhaust
Techtonics stainless, polished, straight-cut, dual tip
I forgot the brand, urethane motor mount (the bottom one)

Exterior:
In.pro HID\'s
FK LED tail lights (custom painted red to better follow laws)
FK stubby billet antenna
4-motion/newer GTI rear valance
de-badged hatch
Rear wiper delete

Suspension:
FK AK coilovers. Currently lowered 3\' front, 1.75\" rear
I forgot the brand, adjustable front sway bar links

Interior:
AWE Instrument cluster matching boost guage w/steering column pod
rear seat removal for weight reduction

Ice:
Eclipse head unit, I forgot the model. Purchased about 9 months ago at about $400 to give you an idea of value.

I think thats everything. Look or ask for updates and keep an eye out for pics.

Please e-mail me at ctruss53@yahoo.com with questions or anything else. I don\'t look at PM\'s in here often because they don\'t pop up for some stupid reason.

e-mail me at ctruss53@yahoo.com

These pics are pretty current. Since these pics I have done the HID\'s

My main goal for selling this car is to reduce my monthly expences. The loan I got on this thing isn\'t the greatest intrest rate and it\'s a shorter term (36 months) so the payments are outrageous. I could afford them easily when I lived at home, but now I\'m on my own I can still afford it, but not comfortably.

Before I bought this car I had an order in for an xB before they came out in June 2004. I am thinking about going with that. I really do like those things.

Of course I am still a euro car fan, so when I mod the xB I sure it will have a euro flare.

Just out of curiosity what temp are the HID\'s?? I\'m kinda in the same boat as you chad. I can afford my car payment, but not comfortably. I refuse to get rid of my car.

I had MUCH better luck with Autotrader when I sold my rocco. Over the period of 2 weeks, I got about 20 real hits from Autotrader, and exactly 0 from carsoup.

I found my car through carsoup.

SLK, thats it. One guy on the vortex asked how far from IL I was, but thats it.

If I don\'t get more interest in the next week or so it is getting parted out.

Well you probably won\'t get it because you can\'t seem to understand why you need to give me money + your diverter valve when the BOV kit costs twice as much. :P

Chad! I just got my insurance settlement. How much have you returned your car back to stock? What\'s still in it? What\'s the currant asking price!
