Well, its a work in progress just for fun. Its for the roof rack on my ACVW. I didnt really take pictures while going along, so if you have any questions thus far, just ask.

Not to be a buzzkill, but wont the sub make the CD player skip?

I like the idea, I often wish I had some decent portable sounds.

yeah it doesnt skip, and i have a hook up to a wall outlet or a car battery, but the wall outlet adapter has too low of amperage

That is awesome

You should flip the deck though so the sub fires towards the roof - with it pointing straight up it won't be as loud.

that would be a brilliant idea for a roof rack suit case on a wooded roof rack. put the head unit in the car and run a wire to subs on the roof
