My name is Kevin. I own and operate Lichty Automotive in Waterloo, IA We specialize in Euro with an emphasis on VAG.

Lichty Automotive was established in 1982. My first full time job was at a local VW dealer in 1974. You can do the math to get an idea of my age, knowledge and experience. :)

I stay up to date with special tools, VAGCOM and my latest purchase of a VeDiS scan tool. We use AllData for information in the shop and I'm a IATN sponsoring member. Also I'm an authorized GIAC dealer.

I use to farm and help run a dairy operation with my dad. I have 3 grown children. And 3 grand kids :) My oldest son is a F15E Strike Eagle pilot in the AF, my middle son is a manager of a HyVee bakery and my daughter is newly wed and residing in Eagle, CO where she works for the county.

I've been married to the same wonderful women for 31 years!

After all of this babble you probably are curious at to what I drive. Well it depends on the day but my current stable consists of a 2000 A8, a 2002 A4Q stage3 and a 1990 Audi V8.

I'm looking forward to meeting many of you this June at your annual gtg.
