My car handles great...super great. It just gets really bouncy on bumps and uneven roads...I also notice that when I REALLY push a corner the car starts to skip... Is it too bad for me? Is the suspension TOO stiff? Do I have too many stress bars and sway bars? Tire pressure? I\'d rather have the car predictably understeer a bit than have it skipping down the road....

suspension thus far:

bilstein struts (old, maybe bad...? they don\'t FEEL bad if you push on the car)
neuspeed sport springs...
4point front subframe from scirocco
neuspeed front sway
eurosport upper bar
eurosport 3 pt rear strut bar
neuspeed rear sway bar
Falken Azenis...near new.

first... your struts are fine, they are not bad, so get that out of your head once and for all...

second... if you want a more plush ride you\'ll have to water down your suspension, lower spring rates, maybe shocks that are less stiff, both of which will make the car less fun.

third... you could always get a set of fully adjustable coils, ride height and dampening, and sell me your suspension in the spring for 3 dollars :)

also... you have Falken Zeix, not Azenis.

sorry....

found the problem. My front right shock is blown. It\'s sitting on the bumpstop.....I thought it had been going for awhile...its just been getting progressively worse. Now its toast :(

no, think an inch and a half lower than it normally is...if you had driven it as regularly as I had, you\'d have noticed the decline...

if it\'s sitting lower in that corner it would be the spring, not the strut. The strut does nothing to hold the car up. The spring holds the car up, how does the spring look? any rust?

the strut must have been bound up...when we jacked it up it didnt even budge... it stayed compressed. put the stock suspension back on.... now I need to afford new suspension
