Well, wednesday the Union College SAE mini baja team took a little field trip to a friend’s car collection. I\'m sure most of you will recognize a few of these. No replicas, etc. Everything he owns/buy is all original. Unfortunately, 17 of his most prized cars are at a car museum in Saratoga Springs (including the d-type jag). Here are some of the pictures I took. (not that great, i don\'t care, just wanted to remember it)

Reving up the superamerica 575 for us when we got there. He\'s had a 430 on order and was promised it by this last fall and is still waiting. He bought the 575 for the time being.

He\'s what we see through the front garage door. You can see the shelby gt-350 in front and the v12 caddy in back.

His two ford gt\'s. He\'s gonna keep the gulf one and sell the other.

I was too busy looking at this...

Around the corner on the lift was his shelby gt-500. Notice carroll shelby\'s signature on the glove box

Mercedes SL-300

We went back outside when his phone rang. We started walking as he nonchallantly mentioned that the DB9 must be here. It has a defective paint job (see side skirts) so they\'re sending him a new one, but they gave him this one in the meantime.

And the Vanquish S going on the flatbed to get it\'s reverse button fixed. (While driving, he accidentally pushed it through the dash :( )

I\'ve got more if anyone has requests. The superamerica and the vanquish are his \"daily drivers\" incase anyone\'s wondering. I\'m missing a lot of the real rare classics. I\'ll post more of those pics later tonight. Check back!

He lives in upstate NY. He\'s the owner (or something like that) of the Taylor Made Group. He\'s got around 70 cars total. His 17 best ones are at the auto museam in saratoga. I can\'t remember if i mentioned that in my original post. He\'s really cool, all about driving cars, not having trailor queens.

No, not the golf company (i dont think?). They pretty much have a monopoly on the boat windshiled business I guess, among other things.
