Hey,

Just another new guy here, came across the site the other day so I thought I'd join. I live in Apple Valley. I'm a Euro guy and always will be.

The cars is a '95 Volvo 850. It's my first car, and I like it a lot. Very comfortable and convenient for hauling skis to Buck Hill everyday of the week. It's got a NA Inline 5 with 5 speed manual. Not fast but lets me rip on unsuspecting 4 bangers once in a while.

Saving up for a B5 A4 or MkIV GTI or V70R.

Some n00b pulled out in front of me in the snow last year and proceded to run. Not worth fixing IMO, saving up for something better, this is just a DD.

Good man! You ski and you drive a totally awesome car! 850's are one of my favorites! (I have many favorites, though, but absolutely love 850's).

To me, it looks very practical. I like practical vehicles.

Hahaha, that's a damn good question. I kind of hate it for its non practialness. Can't fit anything in it. Someone can barely sit in the back seat, my tall friend can barely sit in the front seat. A pair of 160cm skis fit with the back seat folded down from the hatch right up to the shifter. I do kind of want to sell it, in favor of a passat wagon. I love wagons. The reason I got the rocco, was because it was for sale at the end of a farmer's driveway for $300, waiting for someone to come along and get it going again.

wOOt ski gull opened today and i was out there from 9 till 3pm skiing. im on the high school ski team, and i have pretty crappy skis(dynastar, 140cm, 14m turning radius) but they work ok once youve got a bit of a bevel on them. feels good to be back on the slopes again. what skis do u run and what ski hill do u go to? oh and welcome!
