Does it matter how big your cone filter is or is it just the motion in the ocean?

Yeah, as long as it fits, I'd say you're fine.

Well I did a short ram the gigabits mod today. And I took out the other filter I had and it was kinda rusty in some spots which made me realize I was getting the filter wet all the time so maybe it was a good idea to move it. The company gave me two filters cuz the other intake was lost in the mail...score!

I'm tempted to go back to a short ram intake, but GIAC wrote my program specifically for a CAI and said I shouldn't change it back...

This is what was on there before. Its still loud but not as loud as it was before that the metal pipe gave a deeper/rattle grunt sound to the intake but its gonna be cold soon and everyone will have their windows rolled up so its not gonna matter for a while. I might do something again in the spring with the intake.

Filter size shouldn't matter as long as it fits on the intake tube. Thats a really short ram, haha my SRI goes to my headlight almost. Do you get a CEL Dave?

Ive only driven it a couple times since I did the mod. I could cuz I attached the air sensor thing ti the back of the headlight but on the neuspeed intake they just stick it in a whole that isnt anywhere,it just faces the filter so Im guessing it shouldnt set anything off and if it does it weill do the normal shut itself off a day later haha.
