My grandfather is a custom fabricator and he has sort have taken a bit of pride in my mkv! i gave him free reign with my center caps because i didn't like the stock ones too much. the rims are stock and powder coated. They're different but i like em, what do you guys think?

That's pretty neat. I think you need some meaty white lettered tires to make them really work though. :thumbup:

the caps are pretty cool, but I dont know if they fit w/ the car.

Still, looks like nice work.

Any way to get them to sit closer to the wheel?

yeah, i mean we wouldn't have done anything like this if i bought new wheels, just a project to spiff up the stock rims. we couldn't get em any closer because otherwise they wouldn't have been able to lock in but we did bring them in a lot but i agree, the further in the better they looked. Idk they keep growing on me and it was fun to do!

How low? You should be able to get some nice sidewall bulge in there.

255/35 18's fit if you roll your fenders with et of 48-45 on a 18x8 with a decent drop
245/35 18's with no fender mods same wheels

Gotti's would look a lot like the wheels on that GT40. :)
