The brim is cut wider on a flat brim hat than a normal hat which makes it look like shit if you try to bend it. They also do not hold a bend for shit, and only allow you to bend it ever so slightly.

Yep. I've worn nothing but fitted New Era my entire life (other than the most recent ewerks hat which i got xl-xxxl) and have had no problems bending the brim. Bending the brim once on a New Era hat is obviously not going to make it hold. It gains it's form from constantly forming it, special molds you can buy, or simply wearing it to gain the natural curvature of your head. The brim is thick so that the hat lasts longer than every $10 garbage hat out there.


Anyways. I like hats and I'm not efighting about some stupid shit. I <3 everyone. Hats.

EDIT: I found what you're talking about. The one's I've found are not new era but have an extra slight tube seam on the front of the brim. Yuck. No thanks.

I'm in agreement, but its really only the 59fifty New Era's that are like this. Yeah you can bend the brim as much as you want but the way the brim is set up and the way the crown is formed, make it look dopey as hell. I prefer a slight curve, which does work though.

We're going to have to agree to disagree as mlb gameday hats are 59fifty. Either way, I don't think the club should do whole runs of new era hats. Far too expensive for us to take a hit. Having a vector file available for the select few of us that prefer fitted hats would be a nice solution. The flex fits that we had last go round would be just fine.
