I wanna see some pics of cars running 18 x 8.5in rims and know what tire size they're using
You can find a bunch of people running 18x8.5" wheels on this site: http://www.tyrestretch.com/

Welcome Danny, it'd be helpful if you had a car/chassis in mind when asking this too as we can only assume (and most won't) that you mean the audi in your description but even then, we don't know.
just for fun, here's the picture i assume you want.
2005 audi a4, 18x8.5 wheels (offsets are something around 35 i think, with 15mm spacers on the rear wheels)

the problem with that is different cars have different fitments of that particular size wheel. depending on the car, the width of the wheel can either tuck, be flush or poke out. if you are looking at buying them for your car, just say what car you have and if you have a wheel in mind give more information such as offset. all this would give you a better idea of what you are looking for.
another problem you might run into is with that size, you might find a lot of wheel setups that are staggered, with 18 x 8.5 being the fronts, and 18 x 10 in the back, so watch out for that.
hope that helps
p.s. heres a golf r with a VMR 18" x 8.5" ET45 V701 setup
