I'm stepping up again this year and covering the music details for the show. Last year seemed to go over extremely well with pretty much everyone I talked to. Music was good, levels were good, no one had to come up and ask us to turn it down, and I even heard a few guys made out with their girls to a few songs. With that said I'm planning on following through with a similar approach this year.

- I plan to have Dan (Carrera) back. He did a solid, solid all-vinyl set of some vintage synth electro. I felt like I needed to put on my driving gloves and tear up some Italian mountain passes in a 911.
- B-Rock also rocked an all-vinyl set of some laid back sunny hip-hop and soul jams (even though it rained). He'll probably be back.
- I'll play for a set or two depending on the schedule.
- I also want to leave room for a DnB DJ. I have a few in mind.

As far as equipment goes:
- 15" powered 2-way mains (x2)
- powered subs (x2)
- I'll be bringing my tech 1200's and ttm-56.
- If cdj's will need to be supplied, bring your own. We aren't renting equipment we shouldn't have to.

The sound equipment looks pretty minimal, but it did a great job at filling the main lot and not abusing people's ears (remember, people have to park their cars next to the speakers and they tend to stick around during the day).

Mind if I hop on, :calling TeddyMac: as well, I can bring a second setup as well, (a couple to choose from, my travel kit= two CDJ-400's with a DJM-800, NI Audio 8 soundcard, second is a bit bulkier.. Two CDJ-850's, DJM 900 Nexus, also have a NI Kontrol X1, and EFX-1000 as well) Also as for mains, I would be more than happy to volunteer mine as well. (QSC HPR-152i's) I recently blew a sub, so would still like to use yours. Just an idea for if we want to open the "stage" to fellow DJ's who prefer CDJ's.

I can also donate equipment if needed. Not interested in playing, but I can lend a hand with setup and with speakers/mixers/controllers/bubble machine.

I am so down for this. And by easy up do you mean a canopy tent? I think I can handle that task. Ill message a friend. We used his for scooters and set up with it was super easy. hence easy up I guess :)

To the OP, looking forward to your set as I remember last year was great. I have no reason to believe you will do this, but please, please, please keep the dubstep to a reasonable amount. SOWO was dubstep for about 6hrs straight (starting at 10am). Too early and too much for that genre IMO. Wanted to stab myself.

See you all on Sat.

I didn't get a confirmation if I was playing until now.

I'm booked for a gig in Mankato on Friday night. I should be able to get there for set up... do you have enough room for a coffin + your gear Tommy?

It's nice that the event doesn't start until 1pm, unlike previous years.

what time is setup?

Teddy - I thought I messaged you about this sometime in April and got a confirmation? Anywho, I'll be setting up around 11:30 and start the DJ sets at 2. If you want to be there at noon, cool, I'm not too worried about it. We will need another table for your gear. I'll try and snag some extra sound cables for your mixer because we won't be running a soundboard or anything...it's all straight into the R/L monitors. Are you running Traktor or Serato? If it's serato, can you manage playing with actual turntables?

Mike - If you could get that EZ-Up, we're golden.

sorry for my misunderstanding. anyway, I'll try to source/buy a table.

@Tommy. Im waiting for a word back on the EZ Up but Im thinking it should be all good. It's Colins and Im sure he will come through. Just waiting for him to text me back. As far as extra cables and what not.....Ill have a bunch of stuff so if Teddy Mac needs anything extra, I should be able to cover it. Ill also have a serato box, rane ttm54, turns, etc. I have a power supply for the sl1 if you need it for change overs and what not. I'll have to use my laptop cuz I run a pretty weird setup in serato from what i hear plus I use some stuff off my desktop. Thanks and hit me up if you need anything else. I'm leaving Green Bay at 8am. :death:

Teddy - If you can't get your hands on a table today, please don't feel the need to go out and buy one. I'll cover that (I need one anyway).

Mike - Cool beans. I'll rent a few extra cables at EMI to be safe.

***SET TIMES***

1-2 - I will be playing a mix telepathically from across the parking lot as cars start to enter.
2 - Honest12
2:45 - B-Rock
3:30 - Mike
4:15 - Teddy Mac
5 - Honest12
5:45 - B-Rock
6: 30 - Mike
7:15 - Teddy Mac

Cool?

I was thinking I should have a table too, haha. I was just going to get a 6' folding banquet table. I think that should fit in my car okay.

Thanks to Teddy, Mike and Brock for helping out. Everything was smooth except for a busted generator.
