So instead I decided to get some boring looking kumhos for 90 bux each

Im new to brand new tires,I have been riding on my older vredestiens which are many years old and have become stiff. Are brand new tires suppose to be a little floaty? Is there a break in period? Cuz I have alway not a fan of kumho but I hear they are good and low priced. Also i think these may be rubbing but i didnt get the huge puffy sidewall that they normally have. I still ahve to roll my fenders i ahvent ever done it so maybe this would solve it.

Ecsta 711. They are some pansy R rated tire. I just called them and they are gonna let me switch to a Z rated tire.

I had 225/45/17= no rubbing and after 225/45/17=rubbing. All I did was switch tires. This car is touchier than a chick on prom night. I think the sidewalls are a couple mm taller than my other ones which were curved more. I dont know if Im rubbin on the outside or the inside. Either way I should roll my fenders and possibly raise it up a couple mms.

If they\'re both 45\'s and on the same rim, then the sidewall height did not change, as the middle number has something to do with the height of the sidewall in relation to the center of the wheel. I don\'t remember exactly how, it\'s like math and stuff. So it makes no sense to me why you\'d be rubbing with the exact same tire, unless it\'s just some odd sidewall noise you\'re hearing til the tire is broken in a bit.
I need to get new rubber for the Aero. Was thinking of hitting the Fuzion ZRi\'s again like I had on the Golf. They were a decent semi-performance street tire and not very expensive.
