I would really like to buy a set of nice home theater chairs but I just don't have the cash for that right now.

I do have a bunch of BMW seats, though. 6 E36 seats, 1 E30, 1 E34....

This is stage 1. I'm about to start work on the platforms. The first row of chair will be a few inches off the ground and the second row at least 18" above that. Stadium style.

Very nice! I bolted the old cloth set out of my Cirrus to some boards and WALLA bonfire seating in style lol

I wouldn't say it is 'done' but getting close. Just a few little things left like doors, trim, etc :)

Looks good. Hopefully the used seat market will now return to normal.

Using bucket seats in any home application is a WIN! I have a spare 80's Audi Recaro that is my gaming chair. Helps me stay fresh for those endurance races on Gran Turismo!

Not finished yet (no platform), but Austin had his graduation party so the area got a test. All his friends and a big round of Brawl on the Wii.

And I thought I was the only one who had pulled this trick! I recently broke down and replaced mine with some nice home theater seats from Family Leisure. They are definitely worth checking out if you run out of places to sit while you're driving. Otherwise, awesome job!
